Rosso Toscana IGT
Pinot Nero 100%
13% Alcohol
Colle Bereto’s history which dates back to the 11th century, transformed to new life in the 1970’s, today finds its origins in simple and authentic values of love for the family and for the territory. Located in the heart of Radda in Chianti it is a magical place that has succeeded over thirty years to fascinate the Pinzauti family who chose it as the ideal place to start their wine adventure. Only manual work and respect for nature and certified organic farming methods are used. For a good wine three things are indispensable: a good season, good soil, and someone who, with passion, manages to treat everything in an exceptional way, both at the vineyard level and in the cellar. -
The 2015 is a legendary, remarkable, timeless vintage. This wine is one of the estates two main crus. This IGT was born from an experiment: planting Pinot Noir grapes from Burgundy in the 1990s, which flourished thanks to the altitude of the vineyards and the unique micro climate temperature variations. This is an elegant wine with a light ruby red color and garnet reflections. On the palate, hints of raspberry and black currant, floral notes of rose and wisteria, spicy aromas of black pepper, and an elegant, well integrated oak, balanced aromatic taste, with a long finish. Aged 14 months in small new oak barrels, then refined in the bottle. Only 3000 bottles produced.
