Sangiovese 90%, Canaiolo Nero 8%, Cabernet Sauvignon 2%
Serve at 54-59 degrees. This wine is ideal with grilled meats, stews, offel, red sauces, and medium aged cheeses.
Vinification: After fermentation in vitrified cement at controlled temperatures, maturation is completed for 9 months in 25 hl oak barrels and then in stainless steel. Malolactic conversion carried out. Light filtering. Aging in the bottle for three to five months.
This brilliant Chianti Montalbano Riserva is a luminous and alive ruby red color. The nose reveals typical hints of blackberry and violet, spicy and vegetable hints and finally notes of black cherry, raspberry accompanied by aromas of plum, blueberry, cyclamen, leather and graphite. On the palate this riserva is tannic and elegant, with good balance and well bodied.
