Le Filigare is the name of the hill, in San Donato in Poggio where the estate is located; The main village dates back to the 11th century. Today the estate is owned by the Cassetti Burchi family of Florence who, since the 1980s, continue to produce high quality wines with dedication and passion. The family business is led by his son Alessandro, who, since the 1990s, oversaw the renovation of the buildings and brought the wines and extra virgin olive oil to organic certification.

This is an opulent Tuscan red. A firm consistent ruby red color. Intense, complex to the nose with clear overtones of cut flowers, ripe woodland fruit and dried plum, accompanied by elegant spice notes of black pepper, cloves and incense. Soft and elegant on the palate with velvet tannins; a full bodied wine, long and persistent, with a fruity and sweet spicy aftertaste.
