Rosso di Toscana IGT
Sangiovese 90%, Cabernet Sauvignon 10%
Serve between 61 and 64 degrees. This red is ideal with complex meat dishes, including roasts of beef or pork, and braised meat and game.
Vinification: Alcoholic fermentation for 15-20 days at controlled temperatures. Maturation in 225 liter oak barrels and in stainless steel tanks for 12 months and finally three months refinement in the bottle. Malolactic conversion carried out. Light filtering.
This IGT from Montalbano is a deep ruby red with quivering vitality. An important and refined bouquet in which floral notes are evident, aromas of fruits such as cherry and raspberry and in the finish hints of balsamic and black cherry jam. Elegant and well balanced tannins that support a long flavorful finish.
