Sangiovese 90%, Canaiolo Nero and Colorino 10%
Serve at 54-59 degrees. This wine is ideal with grilled meats, stews, offel, red sauces, and medium aged cheeses.
Vinification: Fermentation and refinement in vitrified concrete and stainless steel, followed by refinement in the bottle for two to four months. Malolactic conversion carried out. Light filtering.
This Chianti Montalbano is a brilliant ruby red with dark purple hues and a lively transparency. The nose expresses intense and pleasing aromas that open up with hints of black cherry, raspberry, violet, plum, blueberry and cyclamen. All together creating a wonderful clean freshness. On the palate this wine is very enjoyable, with a vibrant acidity supported well by the fresh tannins. This is a well balanced and full bodied wine.
