The Farm of Montemorli, known and appreciated for the production of its class wines, is located in the municipality of Poggibonsi in one of the most picturesque and hilly areas of the Siena area of “Chianti Colli Senesi” wine production zone.
The soil in the vineyards consists almost exclusively of yellow sands of the Pliocene epoch and its exposure on completely sunny hills, are particularly suitable for the good cultivation of their vines. For these reasons, Montemorli has been orienting its activity for several decades towards the ever greater intensification of viticulture, so much so that today it represents in the Province of Siena one of the most admired examples of vineyard cultivation.
This cold pressed unfiltered extra virgin olive oil is an Emerald green with gold highlights the flavor is intense and fruity typical to fresh olives. The full and balanced flavors bring to the palate hints of artichoke and fresh mown grass with an herbaceous fragrance and finishes as truly good Tuscan oil with a spicy peppery kick. Use as a finishing oil on cooked meats, fish, and vegetables. Ideal for salads and on bruschetta or fresh mozzarella.
