The Baracchi Vineyards are located within the DOC Cortona region, on the hills facing Cortona. The winery overlooks the panorama of the Valdichiana laying beneath the beautiful Tuscan Sun. Riccardo Baracchi, whose passion for the place where he was born, has found a way to share his production of delicious and high quality wines with the world through hospitality. He continues the tradition of the family who have cultivated the vines and produced the wines since 1860, giving it sustainable energy, along with a high quality character. Riccardo, together with his son Benedetto and the professionalism of oenologist and agronomist Stefano Chioccioli, have identified the ideal soils for each grape variety, creating a modern and dynamic company.
Their philosophy is the never-ending search for quality and authenticity for what they do. They produce wines that reflect the expression of the territory, and they continually express this in the wines with different techniques and varied seasons that the passing years offer. With the courage and innovation to create something unique, Riccardo Baracchi produced the first classic method sparkling wines made with native Tuscan grapes, Sangiovese and Trebbiano, along with unusual blends of Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon, and the first Syrah Riserva of the DOC Cortona, the newest Sangiovesone wine.
The Baracchi brand continually innovates, and surprises. We invite you to taste the evolution of an ancient family tradition.

The first Metodo Classico from Sangiovese grapes. The grapes are harvested in advance, around the end of August, to maintain their freshness. Fermentation on grape skins for six to eight hours. More than 40 months sur lies.
Very Fine, compact and persistent perlage. Light pink color with onion-skin shades. Intense and fascinating on the nose, with a bouquet of wild red berries and flowery and mineral tones. Fresh and elegant on the palate, persistent and with a pleasant finish of black currant and sweet almond. .
