Colle Bereto’s history which dates back to the 11th century, transformed to new life in the 1970’s, today finds its origins in simple and authentic values of love for the family and for the territory. Located in the heart of Radda in Chianti it is a magical place that has succeeded over thirty years to fascinate the Pinzauti family who chose it as the ideal place to start their wine adventure. Only manual work and respect for nature and certified organic farming methods are used. For a good wine three things are indispensable: a good season, good soil, and someone who, with passion, manages to treat everything in an exceptional way, both at the vineyard level and in the cellar. -
This is the main wine of Colle Bereto, an excellent wine that has an intense crystal ruby red color. Rich, fleshy and velvety this Chianti Riserva boasts dark red fruits, ranging from cherry and raspberry to pomegranate flavors. Rich and juicy, with wild Tuscan herbs of rosemary, thyme, sage and iron accents. it’s all very well integrated and features fine balance, and great length on the finish of ripe fruits and minerals. To quote the winemaker Bernardo Bianchi “È Una Bomba!” which translates to sensational, something excellent, a success!
